Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information TradingWise (the “Service,” “we,” “us”) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

• Account identity. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile image to create and identify your account.
• Brokerage connection. If you connect Robinhood, we store the OAuth access and refresh tokens needed to act on your behalf. These tokens are encrypted at rest. We never receive or store your Robinhood password.
• Trading & research data. Trades you log or place, research-queue entries, watchlists, and related metadata are stored to operate the Service.
• Technical data. Standard logs (e.g., IP address, browser type, timestamps) and authentication cookies used to keep you signed in.

How we use your information

• To provide, operate, and secure the Service.
• To display your portfolio, positions, orders, and research.
• To execute orders that you explicitly confirm, through your connected brokerage.
• To maintain authentication and prevent abuse.

We do not sell your personal information.

Third-party services

We rely on third parties to deliver the Service, and your data is processed by them under their own terms and privacy policies, including:

• Google — sign-in / authentication.
• Robinhood — brokerage account access and order placement.
• Supabase — authentication and database storage.
• TradingView and other market-data sources — market research data.
• AI providers (e.g., Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini) — generating research and summaries.

Data storage & security

Data is stored with our infrastructure provider (Supabase) with encryption in transit and at rest. Robinhood tokens are additionally encrypted using authenticated encryption. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

• You can disconnect Robinhood at any time, which removes the stored tokens.
• You can request access to or deletion of your account data by contacting us.
• You can sign out to clear your session.

Children

The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
